Hello Guys! I am back talking about one of my favorite places- Havasupai! For those of you that don’t know it’s in the Grand Canyon and it’s a 10 mile hike in. This is my 5th time going and still one of my favorite places. It’s like paradise. This year my husband came and I’m so happy he was able to experience this beautiful place with me. And it was our first time leaving the kids for years. It was so fun spending quality time with my love. I also went with my sisters Brooke and Shamsie, some of my brother and sister in laws. And also with my uncle and cousins. It was a blast.
I was going to do another post about “things to know about Havasupai” but I pretty much covered everything in this post I did last year. It’s 10 things you need to know about Havasupai and all your questions answered! The only part I wanted talk more about it how to get a permit to go. First off, if you didn’t know already you have to get a permit to go, and I guess it’s hard to get one from what I’m hearing. My uncle has been going for many years so I have never had a hard time getting a permit. You can always call here and try to get in but I guess they’re hard to get a hold of. I have been researching and apparently there is a website that you can go to and buy people’s permits that can’t make it and buy the permits from them. I haven’t got the exact website name but when I do I promise I will let you all know!

If you find out the website to get the permits you must let me know! we already have our plane tickets for vegas and rental car to go, but they are booked out for the first week of October. We had no idea how hard it is to go! How does your uncle manage to get in so easily?

Hello Marika! So Sorry I am getting back to you so late. SO I am still finding out where the place to get someones permits is at. I am hoping to have a answer here soon and I promise I will let you know! My uncle has been going for over 10 years before anyone really knew about it and establishes a relationship with the Indians down there so he is invited anytime! I think is who you know honestly!
