I’m baaaack! After a much needed week and a half break I FINALLY have a new post up. If you have been following me on Instagram you know I have been out of town for the last 2 weeks seeing our family back in Utah! We just got back home yesterday to NorCal after a long and dreaded 12 hour drive haha. But I have to say my kids did awesome the whole drive, even baby Londyn! I think it was harder on me and Casey, haha.  Let’s just say I’m one tired mama!  SO for those of you that don’t know already that the best sale of the year is coming up and by coming up I mean this THURSDAY! It’s the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale…..yay!!!! Ok this is one of my favorite sales for many reason. One, it’s a great time to get all those items you need for the fall and back to school. Two, it always has great high-end designers items on sale like one of my favorites, Stuart Wietzman. Who doesn’t love a good sale. I know I do! The only bad thing is items sale out SO quick, so you really have to have a strategy before the sale hits. Here is 5 tips I use to get the best bang for my buck.

1. Make sure to be a card member and get early access starting this Thursday at 12pm (open to the public starting July 21st). It’s easy to sign up and worth it because you can earn Nordstrom notes and get money off your purchases and buy all the best stuff first! You can apply here.

2. Shop right when it starts at 12 pm. I am up shopping late this night, because there have been many time where I waited till the next day and all the items I wanted were sold out :(. So make sure to drink some caffeine because you don’t want to miss out on this one.

3. Check out their catalog beforehand and make sure to write down the name of the items you want. So when midnight hits you can type the items you want in and get to them before they’re gone.  I am wanting some new boots, and always love a new pair of designer jeans. I also want to get Rowen some new shoes for school, and Casey a new suit. Also the makeup kits are always great during this sale, so make sure to check them out in the catalog.

4. After you shop online go into the stores and try on a bunch of stuff also. I noticed that some stuff I didn’t notice online I loved in stores. I always go into Nordstrom and shop the day after, aside from my late night shopping.

5. When it opens back to the public on July 21st, make sure to check back here because I will be posting all the great stuff  I spot daily! They add new stuff randomly,  so I will make sure to keep my eye out for the best items to share with you all!

Thursday I will be posting what I end up getting and some of the best deals. So make sure to come back so you don’t have to spend hours searching (let me do the hard part for you, haha). Also I found so many cute swimsuit cover ups under $50, I had to share!!
