What Makes You Happy?

What makes you happy? Summer time makes me SO happy! We just went on the best vacation to go see family in Utah and it was non-stop fun. I’m telling you, my kids are so bored at our house without all their cousins to play with! Luckily both Casey’s family and my family are in Utah so we were able to take one trip and see everyone. We went swimming practically every day, went to Lagoon, barbecued, and did all the fun summer stuff. My favorite part of vacations sometimes is just relaxing and not doing anything too crazy. It was such a fun few weeks and luckily the kids survived the drive without too much chaos! So we’re super tired but also really happy to be home.

I asked Lettie and Rowen what made them happy about our trip last week and here is what they responded.

Lettie: “We went to Lagoon with all our cousins! We went of some rides called Cannon Ball and the Wicked ride and it was so fuuuuun!”

Rowen: “We went to 2 of our Grandmas houses and we had a lot of cousins there! It was so fun and we went swimming at a pool that had a slide!”

Something I’m also super happy about is all these cute new clothes we just got for the kids at Gymboree! I hadn’t been there in a really long time, but apparently they just came out with a bunch of new styles that are SO CUTE! One of my favorite things is that a lot of the pieces you can mix and match, which is perfect for me because it makes finding an outfit that much easier. haha Especially with school coming up soon, the easier the better!
