Hey guys! I hope everyone is having an amazing week! Anyone else out there dying in this heat!? It’s been so hot outside here in the Bay Area. It’s funny because we used to live in Arizona, where it gets way hotter! Now that we’ve been in California for so long, though, we’re all turning into heat wimps! I remember taking our kids to the park right after we moved here when it was 100 degrees outside and everyone thought we were crazy, but it was just what we were used to! Now it’s 100 and we don’t even feel like going outside unless you’re swimming or eating ice cream. haha

Speaking of ice cream, if you’re in the East Bay, you NEED to try Lottie’s Creamery in Walnut Creek. I promise you will not be mad, their flavors are so good! I took Lettie and Londyn out on a little girls date to get ice cream because we just needed to cool down! Also, you don’t really need an excuse for an ice cream run, right?! Especially not for an ice cream addict like me! haha I had some kind of cinnamon streusel ice cream and it was amazing. Londyn also really liked it, she makes me share all my food with her, of course.
Lettie and I wore our mommy and me Rothy’s flats on our little date! I’m not the mom that’s always matching with my kids (I’m just not that prepared) but it’s so fun every now and then to find cute mommy and me outfits! We love love love these shoes, they’re so cute and so comfy. They’re made of fabric, so they’re super light and comfortable. You can even machine wash them, which is amazing especially for kids, because we all know they can’t keep their shoes clean for longer than 10 minutes!
