My beautiful sister Jula and I made these fun headbands when I was home visiting last week. I had to share them with you. They are so easy and are perfect for the summer. I think I have worn mine almost every day since.
Here’s what you need:
We got our ribbon at Joann‘s. They had so many to choose from. I am sure you can find many similar options online or at any local craft store.
This is all you need. I used both glues. I think the E6000 worked better (its my favorite)
This is how you make them:
1. Wrap a piece of ribbon around your head to measure the length of the ribbon needed and cut. Do the same with the elastic (needs to be the same length as the ribbon).
2. Add glue to the back of the elastic and apply to the ribbon (use a fair amount of glue)
3. Let dry for 30 minutes or so
4. Once its dry, stitch the two ends together with a needle and thread. (make sure you do enough stiches so it stays good) Or you can always sew it with a sewing machine. I am not much of a seamstress so I just stick to the needle and thread ( it’s really easy, if I can do I promise anyone can do it) 🙂
Its easy as that! They are so fun to wear and make any outfit look awesome!! I hope you guys love them as much as we have! I would love feedback or pic’s of what you make!!
