I’m over here in pajamas sippin my 1,000th fall pumpkin smoothie (from Sally’s Baking Addiction, I’m obsessed) and people, it is GOOD! Are you guys already getting into pumpkin everything, or am I early? We just got ourselves our very first blender (shocking I know) and if you can’t tell I think we’re fans. We’ve been trying all sorts of new smoothies and need all the recommendations!
I always get so excited for fall because there are so many fun things to do with your kids! Do you guys ever get a little stressed out with trying to make the holiday’s fun? When I was a kid, I loved doing all the fun seasonal activities. Fall was a huge highlight of the year, and I want to be able to do that for my kids. I brainstormed some ideas that I’ve seen on pinterest and some of our families favorite fall activities to share with you guys! Here are some Fall activities we’ve loved that you need to put on your bucket list this year!
Camo pants, camo jackets, camo hats, camo shirts… Camo is everywhere! I’m sure you guys have seen it everywhere too. Honestly, I’m a little obsessed because camo is one of my favorite trends this season. I love it because it’s so hard to go wrong with this one!
Casey and I have been thinking about getting a new second car for FOREVER and finally decided to pull the trigger! We’ve had his car literally since we’ve been married (over 10 years ago) and keeping up with it’s maintenance just wasn’t worth it anymore. We weren’t sure what we wanted but we knew that we wanted a car that was a little bit less of a family car if you know what I mean (don’t always love rollin up into San Fransisco for date night in a mini van!) We were so excited to partner with Walnut Creek Mercedes to find the perfect second car for our family! Throughout the whole process they have been nothing but accommodating to us. Every time we went into their office they were so sweet and I never felt pressured. They are also very family friendly and were really cool with me bringing my kids in, they have a great play area.
Happy Birthday Casey! Can you believe this guy is 36?! I swear he looks exactly the same as when we got married over 10 years ago.
This guy is such a big supporter of me and our family. I’m so lucky to have him, there is no way I could ever do what I do without him! I get asked a lot about how I manage to do this job with all it’s traveling and take care of my kids at the same time. It’s all because of Casey people! He’s a great father and super hands on with the kids and helps out with everything.
If anybody tells you that red plaid is only for Christmas time, they’re lying! Plaid is back in, everybody, and I’m not mad about it. It’s going to be huge this fall. I paired my plaid pants (which are under $30!!) with a white tee and leopard heels because mixing patterns is all over the place these days.
I’m over here recovering from New York Fashion Week, so it’s a good thing you can’t see me lounging in my sweats all day long! Sorry not sorry. Even though I’m so tired, I had such a fun time in New York. I’ll be telling you guys alllll about it over the next few weeks because it was just that amazing.
Hey guys! Who’s excited for NYFW?! I’m getting everything ready to go and go lost in memory lane looking at all my favorite looks from past fashion weeks that I’ve been to. Fashion week is my 2 weeks out of the year that I can go outside my mom-iform box and wear different things that I don’t usually wear on a regular basis.
