Our mornings have just gotten a whole lot more hectic now that school has started! I want to make sure that the kids get started off on the right foot before getting to school, especially now that Lettie is starting pre-school, so I’ve come up with a few things that might help us regulate our mornings and turn them into a “pour hour” for me and the kids.
Hey there everyone! Did you know that summer officially ends in 3 weeks!? So don’t mind me, I’ll just be over here soakin’ up the last few rays of sun with my snacks and non-alcoholic Rosè! Cause who doesn’t need an excuse to take a break, right?! Speaking of the end of summer, does everyone know that Labor Day is on Monday?
Ok, let’s talk favorite toddler products. Because let’s be real, anything to make the toddler years as easy as possible is worth the money! I’ve had 3 toddlers in my day, and I guess you could say I’ve learned a thing or two about which products are a waste of time and which ones I would literally DIE without. Believe me, between and the tantrums and wild energy I really do sometimes think I might die.
Fall is one of my favorite seasons to dress for because I have an easy go-to method for putting together my outfits. I get together 7 fall staples and mix and match for a different look every day. If you do it right, everything matches with everything, so you’ll never go wrong!
Can you believe that fall styles are already out!? This year has flown by man. I went into a craft store the other day and there were already Halloween decorations up. Once Halloween comes around, Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner. haha Not that I’m complaining though, I love all the different seasons and holidays, it makes life interesting. Fall is especially fun because who doesn’t like sweaters and boots, right!? I’ve been doing some shopping for the kids now that school is starting and they don’t fit any of their fall clothes from last year (of course). Here are some of my favorite fall trends for kids that I’ve been seeing!
These kids have had so much fun this summer, but I think we’re all a little excited to be getting back into a schedule! What about you guys? Do you like the flexible summer schedule or are you happier in a routine? I like a little of both, but my kids do way better when they have a routine and know what to expect for the day. Which makes me happier too!
Not the whole house, just the bedroom guys. Over here we’re celebrating small victories. haha I really am super excited though, and you should be too, because look at all these cute things I found!! I decided to decorate my bedroom first because even if my house looks like a tornado just blew through it, I can at least find a little peace and calmness in my bedroom before I fall asleep. Preferably before 2 am. 🙂 Honestly, though, I really do think of my bedroom as a place to go relax, so I wanted to decorate it in a way that would help me feel that calmness.
This summer has been more than crazy, I feel like we have had so many things going on every day! We’ve been traveling and moving and then traveling again… I think I need a nap. haha Or two! It will actually be nice for school to start and things to get back to normal.
Our BEAUTIFUL MacKenzie-Childs dinner ware just came in the mail and I was so excited I just had to try it out! I was so excited to throw a dinner party for my sister when she came into town, but we had to take an unexpected trip at the exact same time she was coming (of course). So instead we ended up just having a special dinner with just our family. Here are a few rules I go by whenever I throw a dinner party to make it magical.
