Today is our 10th anniversary, can you believe it!? Every time Casey and I kiss, the kids literally throw their hands over their faces and scream “EW, GROSS!” We’re not super huge into PDA, but I guess it happens enough that they’re sick of it. haha A little fun fact about us is that Casey is by far the more cuddly out of the two of us. He loves to cuddle and kiss, maybe that’s where Lettie get’s it from!
So everyone and their dog are selling their presets these days. (Presets are like photo filters in case you’re new to the photo editing game.) I love so many of them, but I couldn’t get enough of Meg’s Lightroom presets. She is from styledavenue.com, and a friend of mine and she’s absolutely the cutest. I’ve loved her pictures for a really long time. I bought her presets and I’ve been editing with them in Lightroom ever since. When you edit pictures, keep in mind that every picture is different, so you usually have to play around with some of the settings a little bit after applying the preset. I use a few different presets of hers.
A few years ago I threw away my scale. You guys, it was one of the best things that I’ve ever done. There is so much pressure to look a certain way, to weigh a certain amount, to fit into a certain size–throw that mindset away! EveryBODY is different, and what you should be thinking about instead of a number on the scale is how healthy and happy you feel. Healthy eating is a lifestyle, not a diet.
Happy Galentines Day everybody! I think Casey is great and everything, and I love Valentines day, but this year let’s hear it for all the amazing women in our lives! There is nothing better than the feeling of community and support that you feel when so many powerful and amazing women get together.
