Look who’s joining the blog today! I know it’s a rare occurrence to see the hubs on here, but I love it whenever he does! I thought it would be fun to talk a little bit about our marriage since I don’t very often. We have been married almost 10 years (so crazy, more about how we met here), and I love this man more and more each day. I feel like our marriage gets stronger and stronger. He is my rock. Don’t get me wrong, we have our days where we want to pull each others hair out. What marriage doesn’t?! The funny thing is our personalities are total opposites! He is organized and I am not, haha. He’s a homebody and I’m a social butterfly. He’s good with money and I love to spend. Thank goodness we aren’t both spenders or we would be in big trouble, haha. My side of the bed has clothes all over the place and empty water cups for days on the nightstand. His side is very neat and tidy and not one thing out of place. He gets so annoyed with my clothes all over the room but every year he seems to be more chill about it, or maybe he’s just learned to pick and choose his battles, haha. He drops hints all week about the clothes on the ground, until he can’t take it anymore and begs me to clean it. If you follow me on IG stories, you know he is not a fan of social media. He has always been like that. He doesn’t like to share everything he does everyday with the world, yet he’s married to a blogger haha. I am actually happy that he isn’t into the social media world. He is wise beyond his years, and thats one of the many things I love about him.
Despite our different personalities, we share so many common interests and core beliefs. We’re both religious. We both came from large families and wanted to have kids. We both have a passion for fitness and eating healthy, but love a good dessert here and there. We love to travel, especially somewhere warm where we can relax on a beach. We both love living in a big city. I honestly couldn’t see life with out this man. He brings so much happiness and love to me and our family. He’s an amazing dad and the kids adore him. And it doesn’t hurt that he is easy on the eyes :)!
Okay, now on to the outfits! When it comes to going on a fancy date night, this is what you will find us wearing. This look is something Casey also wears to business dinners/meetings.
