New York Fashion week was one to remember! I have always wanted to go to New York during fashion week and attend all the runway shows ever since I can remember! Being there last week was so surreal! And the best part was having some of my close friends (check out my friend Angie’s cute Boutique NeverNola) there to share this fun experience with me! Here are my looks for day 1 at NYFW. Warning—it rained all day and the humidity was out of control so our hair was frizzed out and makeup was melting off haha. But it was so worth it, rain and all!

Our first show was the Supima Design Competition and it was so fun to see what all the designers came up with! I also loved seeing multiple designers work all in one show! And we got to take home the cutest goodie bags! I decide to wear this bright, floral, ruffle dress to start my fashion week off! Its a steal, under $20!!

My second look I decide to go with the classic LBD and of course I had to add a little edge to the look with these fun cameo heels (haven’t stopped wearing these). We ended the day at the Yosi Samra & Gigi New York NYFW Cruise! They had a fun runway show and non-stop food and entertainment! My favorite part was our view, overlooking the skyline of NYC and stopping by the Statue of Liberty! It really was a day/night I will always remember and cherish! But my feet are still trying to forget these day haha. I am still recovering from wearing heels all day!!
