Family Easter Traditions
Egg Decorating
Our egg decorating night is so messy but so fun! My kids love getting crafty but always make such a mess, so we always start off by lining the kitchen floor with newspaper (totally necessary) and stripping down to diapers and underwear. If your curious, egg dye is v hard to get out of clothes! haha Once we get everything ready, we pretty much just let them go be as crazy and messy as they want!
Easter Egg Hunts
When I was a kid, my family would always have a huge easter egg hunt for all the extended family and they would hide some serious prizes in those eggs. I think this is probably one of my favorite Easter traditions. I remember there was one year where they hid money in the eggs and one of them had a jackpot. It got pretty intense! Easter egg hunts at our house are not quite as intense, but we still like to have them!
Hidden Baskets
At our house, the Easter bunny always hides our Easter baskets, so after the kids get up they run around in the morning trying to find theirs. We love watching the kids search for their baskets, I want to keep this tradition going forever!
