Hey everyone! I am diving in real deep today with some nitty gritty, TMI for some maybe :), details on being a woman! It’s a topic that I KNOW happens to so many women, especially after having kids, but for some reason has become so taboo for discussion! I’m talking about having a sensitive bladder people! Go ahead, let’s all just laugh together about this right now. I know most of you moms out there have had experience with this like I do! Let’s get even more real here, I had a sensitive bladder before I had three kids even! So you can imagine how it is for me now! 🙂
I’ll start out with an embarrassing story from back in the day (if you missed this embarrassing story you need to check it out- it’s a good one) when I was just starting to date my husband we were in the stage of still getting to know each other and trying to impress each other. We went to the state fair for a date one night and rode that dang Zipper ride.. you know the one I’m talking about don’t you? The Zipper literally jacks up everyone’s bodies, I don’t know how it is still a ride people go on. haha! Anyway, as we are riding this ride it jerked so fast and the bar hit me right in the bladder so hard I literally peed myself on the ride. It was not a little thing either where I could hide it from Casey. I was wearing light pants and when we got off the ride I was wet on my front AND backside! You want to talk about a mortifying date night, this was it! Thankfully Casey was super chill and laughed with me about it, gave me his jacket to tie around my waist to hide it, and he still kept dating me after that night obviously.
My point is, this can happen before kids, and it will definitely happen after kids even more so!
