The Girl in the Yellow Dress

Day 2 New York Fashion Week seems like yesterday, when actually it was a week ago today! This was a busy day. I got up early and went to the Baublebar event at their showroom in NYC and it was SO pretty! I always love their jewelry (some of my favorites), and came home with this and this (can’t stop wearing). Then I was off to a meeting and on my way got lost of course haha. Then to the RewardStyle Retreat where I was able see and chat with a lot of my blogger friends + their location was to die for with a rooftop view of the city! Then to more meeting and Casey joined me for my last one then we went and explored Time Square and had dinner at Shake Shack. I didn’t end up going to any of my shows I had planned this day, but I was happy I was able to connect with my blogger friends and brands instead. It was a great/busy day in the city! I saw a major trend of colors and items while at Fashion week. It seemed like everyone and their dog was wearing these 3 colors, and I’m not mad about it one bit. They are some of my favs! Here they are and this is a perfect time to add these hues to your closet this fall and winter!

1. Red- Any type of red was seen all over fashion week. Tons of red boots (like these ones I’m wearing), handbags, earrings, coats, jackets, dresses, you name it. Also wearing all red from head to toe was seen a lot. I love red and love that this trend is so big right now!

2. Yellow- You all know this is my favorite color and I seriously was so excited about this one being so popular. I saw a lot of all yellow jumpsuits, blazers (like this one) and matching pants, yellow Shoes (these ones that I’m wearing are perfect), and bags. Oh and also pops of yellow with bold tassel earrings and jewelry! This top I’m wearing is the perfect hue of yellow and the sleeves are tons of fun+ different from your everyday top. You all need a yellow item or two in your closet this fall.

3. White- Just throw that rule of “no white after Labor Day’ out the window!!! Because there is no rules to fashion and white is hotter then ever and I couldn’t be more happy about it! White is so chic and classic! I saw a ton of white boots, coats, blazers, handbags, pant, you name it at fashion week. The all white trend is still on point and going to be for many months to come. So get all the white you can find because it’s hot right now. I just bought this bag and it honestly goes with everything. The best part I can wear it year round these days!
