The Girl in the Yellow Dress

Hey guys! I am not sure if you remember my family and I went to the Oakland A’s game a week or so ago. I posted about it here. We had SO much fun and we loved every minute of it, especially my boys! Both Casey and Rowen are big sports fans, so they were loving every second of this day! I took over Old Navy’s Instagram Stories and that was really fun to show all the cool things we did at the game via Instagram Stories.

My favorite part of any sporting event is always the food! 🙂 Who doesn’t love an excuse to chow down on hot dogs, popcorn, and pretzels! I also loved the bean bag toss that Old Navy put on, and we all got sunglasses for a prize! Getting to meet the mascot Stomper was a highlight for my kids for sure. They felt so special that day and that always makes my momma heart swell up to see the happiness on their faces.

Rowen’s favorite part was being able to run the bases after the game. He looked so tiny on that big field as he ran and I know that it is a moment he will always remember! We all got to take home souvenir baseball bats which was the icing on the cake for such an incredible family day out. Every single part of this day was memorable for us and we want to do it all over again!

The entire family is dressed in Old Navy for the special day out. I love putting together coordinating looks for my whole family. Why do us mommas love doing this so much?! The boys are both wearing The Getaway line of shirts from Old Navy. These shirts are so cute and comfortable, and there’s nothing cuter to me than a father and son duo that dress alike! I am wearing all white, which is my favorite combo to rock in the summer months! These white jeans from Old Navy are seriously the best! They are very slimming which is what I’m looking for post baby! I love the combination of denim and white for summer looks as well, which is what I put Lettie in.

When you’re scrambling to put together an entire family look for the summer, start with selecting one of your favorite lighter shades and accent with whites and light blues. I really love blue in the summer, probably because it reminds me of the ocean or lake! So I usually just stick with light blues/denims and white for my selections.
