3 Fitness Tips that Keep Me Motivated During My Pregnancy + Our Favorite Healthy Dinner Recipes!

Hey guys! So I thought since it’s the first of the year why not share some of my favorite workout tips and what helps me stay motived while pregnant. And trust me it’s not easy staying motived while I am sick and pregnant. But here are 3 tips on how I try to stay fit during my pregnancy.

1. Do something that’s fun! I love to take a dance or zumba class and try to do this a couple times a week. For most people getting on a treadmill isn’t fun so find something that will keep you moving and keeps you motivated! Try my on the ball workout for a fun and different workout!

2. Pack your fridge, cupboards and purse with healthy snacks. I noticed that I don’t crave as many bad things when I have healthier options at my finger tips. I love mixed nuts, Apples and Peanut butter, Protein bars (I love these ones pregnant). For most morning I eat eggs and these protein pancakes (much better for you then regular pancakes). When I do get a sweet tooth I love dark chocolate, or dark chocolate almonds. I also love the pre package salads for a quick lunch option.

3. My motivation has been knowing the more fit I am remain during my pregnancy the easier it will be to bounce back after having the baby! I try not to be crazy about it because it’s still ok to indulge and it’s healthy to gain weight during pregnancy, but I also realize that making healthy decisions now will go a long way after having the baby!
