The Girl in the Yellow Dress

Hey guys!! I am pretty excited to share my favorite way to style and curl my hair these days! Also what tools and products I used to get this quick and easy beachy, wavy look! You all know I am all about what’s fast and easy but still looking fab. I feel like this hairstyle is all of that! I have been doing this hair style non stop lately! I am especially loving it with my shorter hair!

I was going to a video for you on this hairstyle but it’s such a easy one. So I thought it would be just as effective by showing you through pictures!

The first thing I always like to do for getting a little volume is get a paddle brush and lightly tease the top section. Then grab a tail comb and part it wherever you desire. I went with the middle part this time. I will be using the NuMe curling wand. I LOVE all the NuMe products but the one I am using with this style is the Titian 3. It comes in a set of 3 different wands (small, medium, and large). I use all 3 sizes but for this style I will be using the largest one (32mm). The largest one gives it that really loose undone curl that I love! The smaller the wand the tighter of curl you get.

Then I part my hair in 3 different sections. The first piece of hair (closest to the face) I curl always away from the face. Then alter them back and forth, away from the face then toward the face. I use about 1 inch pieces of hair at a time and curl each piece of hair for 10 seconds (this is the key to good curls). And then to give them that wavy look instead of curly look, I leave the last inch of hair out, so the ends of your hair don’t curl at all!
The top section I do a little different then the other two sections. I curl the first two pieces away from the face, then the rest I alternate back and forth. Away from my face then toward the face.
Then after I am done curling, I finish it by applying a dime size for this Argan Oil through out my whole hair, especially working it through the ends. It makes the hair feel smooth and gives it instant shine! I LOVE this stuff!
