What is a basic piece? Its something that you can wear year around and can pretty much go with everything! And it never goes out of style! I feel like neutral colors are great basic pieces to add to your wardrobe year round, because they can go with anything and everything! They are especially perfect to add to your wardrobe this spring and summer. Here are 5 staple pieces you NEED in your wardrobe.
1. White button down boyfriend top– It looks great so many ways, causal (like pic above), or add it to a cute skirt. You can’t go wrong, it goes with everything!
2. Grey Jeans– I can’t stop wearing these! They are like black jeans. You can pretty much pair them up with everything. I love the grey over black jeans for the warmer months. But they are both great jeans to have that will never go out of style!
3. White and or grey short sleeve sweater– I have worn this sweater non stop since I got it in the fall. Sometimes those spring and summer nights get a little chilly so these is a great ones to add to your wardrobe, because these colors look great with any look.
4. Nude heels/flats– Basically the nude color is the new black. And I will have to agree on that one. I wear these heels and flats with everything! I actually wear them more then my black pumps and flats! These Yosi Samara flats are too good to be true. They fold up tiny so they fit inside your bag. When my feet get tired and sore from heels I just throw these baby’s on! And the best part they look super stylish and are so comfortable! They are pretty much life saver. A great wardrobe basic!
5- Tan and or Pastel bag– When it comes to bags, I love colorful ones! But having a neutral or light colored one is a great one to add to your collection. This mint color has been perfect cause it looks great with anything and adds a little pop go color to my outfits. I think a tan neutral bag is another must have. Ether way you can’t go wrong!
