Lets be honest summertime is when you never want to get ready or where makeup, just lay at the pool all day long!! But the times when you do get ready in this summer heat there are two things that are a must. 1- it has to be quick and easy and not melt of my skin. And 2- something fun and summery with a pop of color. This look has both of these things and I am loving. I have been doing my makeup like this so much lately and I can’t get enough. Especially the bright lips. Here’s what I use.

SKIN

Primer: Laura Mericer– apply all over face before foundation (in love with this stuff, great for the summer). It’s always important to prime your face before you apply foundation. It makes the makeup look and stay better!

BB Cream: Smashbox Camera Ready | apply over the whole face with fingertips. Its not as heavy as a foundation but only medium coverage. Light for the summer and great for sun kissed skin.

Undereye/Highlighter: NYX in yellow | I apply this under the eye and on the sides and down the middle of the my nose, and also above and under the lip ( for more about highlighting and contouring check out my friend Maskcara’s tutorial ).

Bronzer/Contour: Hoola from Benefit | I contour my cheekbones and along my jawline.

Blush: Maybeline Dream Bouncy | apply to the apple of the cheeks.

 

EYES

Eyeshadow Primer: Too Faced Shadow Insurance | apply over the whole lid before you apply shadow or liner.  It helps keep the shadow and liner to last all day, even in the summer heat!!

Eyebrow Highlighter: NYX Wonder Pencil in Light | apple this under the eyebrow. It highlights the eyebrows and gives it a more defined look  (love this).

Eyeshadow: Stila | Apply it all over the  whole lid  and also brush under the eyes. This color is light and natural looking and gives the eyes a pop.

Eyeliner: Revlon Color Stay in Black | apply a thin line close to the upper lash line and waterline (sometimes I don’t use eyeliner). This is great eyeliner for the summer its doesn’t budge!

Mascara: Younique | LOVE this stuff. More about it here.

 

EYEBROWS

Eyebrow Pencil: Anastasia Brow Whiz in Medium Brown | This stuff is amazing!! Its my new favorite. I outline the top and bottom of my brows with fine strokes.

Eyebrow Powder: Anastasia Duo Powder in Chocolate  | Fill in my brows with the lighter power with fine strokes along my brows. I love this video, its shows how to get perfect brows. I am still trying to achieve perfect brows…its not easy, especially with my thin brows!!

LIPS

Lip Plumper: Too Faced Lip Injections | This is the best. I apply it first before I put any thing else on my face. It gets my lips all plump before I put my lip color over them. I have used this for over a year now and I am addicted!!

Lip Color: Revlon Colorburst in Unapologetic 210 | In love with this color and these lip glosses. I wear this color at least 4 times a week. It makes the eyes pop and is a perfect color for the summer. I love these lip sticks so much I have bought 3 other ones ( more about my favorite lipstick coming soon).

Highlighter: NYX Born to Glow Liquid Illminator | I dont use this all the time. When I do I apply a little on my cheekbones, the bridge of my nose and above my lip. Love the instant glow it gives your skin.
