A Super Cool Summer Party with Dr. Pepper | The Girl in The Yellow Dress

First of all, we love our new neighborhood. It’s a little farther away from the highway and grocery stores, but it’s so quiet and peaceful. We’re still unpacking (of course, it will never end) but our house finally has some order to it. I am happy to announce that I’ve finally found my hair brush, so that’s good news. haha And I know where all my kids underwear is at, so that’s also good news! Baby steps!

One of the best things about our new house, according to Lettie and Rowen, is that we have an awesome neighborhood pool right down the street. It’s so fun and the kids are probably going to be there way too much this summer! It’s perfect for getting friends together for a summer party though – they are going to love having a real pool so close. I’ve been loving it too after our long hours of unpacking and organizing, swimming is the perfect end to our wild summer days. And check out this sweet Dr Pepper pool float! haha It’s so giant, but was actually very relaxing. Not pictured is my kids launching themselves off of it in the pool, which it was also perfect for!

Now that it’s summer, everyone we know seems to be having barbecues and back yard parties. Are you guys summer party throwers or party goers? Or neither? haha We’d love to be party throwers, but honestly don’t get around to it as much as we’d like. Life always gets too busy! I have been known to throw a good Bachelorette party with my girls, though, you can’t go wrong there! haha

If you’re party throwers, you guys have to throw a Dr Pepper party this summer! How fun does that sound, and perfect for summer. Have you guys ever been to a Dr Pepper summer party where you go taste test the different flavors? They’re so fun! They have the original flavor (duh) and a few other flavor variations so it can get a little tricky. I’m personally a fan of the cherry vanilla Dr Pepper! You can even blind fold people and see who can tell the difference between the different kinds. Fun fact, Casey is a huge Dr Pepper fan! He doesn’t drink it as much as he used to, but he would probably school all of us at that game haha. You could do Dr Pepper ice cream floats, chugging contests, and so many other fun things. If you guys throw one, I want to see pictures! It would be perfect for a birthday party too if you have any Dr Pepper lovers in your family.

They just came out with the cutest new packaging, so each can of soda has different image than the others! I always think that’s kind of fun. They were designed by millennial’s for millennials, which is awesome, and they’re out now at Walmart! So go run to Walmart and see all the cute packaging!
