It’s the beginning of a new year, so I think it’s about time for a Springer family update! It’s kind of fun to look back on everything that has happened in the last 12 months, too! Not only is it super fun to look back on on pictures from a year ago and remember the good times, but it also helps me to see how I’ve grown from the hard times. I would say that overall, this last year was a great year for our family! We had a ton of fun times, but there were defiantly a few things that we had to go through as a family that pushed us.
Family Update:
We moved
We moved to a new house and a new neighborhood! This new neighborhood that we are in has been amazing for my kiddos. This neighbors have been so friendly and my kids have made so many friends in our little cul de sac. Here is the post in case you missed why we moved. Even thought this was actually a great move for my family, we didn’t plan for this! We got a 60 day notice to vacate our last house because the owner had died and the house was being sold. It was stressful finding a new place, and moving is never fun! We also decided to paint the new house before moving in, which was a HUGE job. It was way more work than we thought it was going to be, and the bummer is that it’s a rental! If we were painting our own house, that’s another story. But this time, it sucked haha!
We’ve traveled
And by ‘we’ve traveled’, I mean we reeeeally traveled. In the past few months, Casey and I went to Hawaii, I went to New York for Mackenzie Childs, we went glamping with the family, I went to Texas for a Rewardstyle conference, we traveled to Utah for the summer, I went to Arkansas for Walmart, we went to New York as a family, then I went back to New York for fashion week, and we traveled to Utah within 3 times in a few months for my sisters wedding, Thanksgiving, and New Years… I think that was all. Oh and Santa Barbara for Casey work conference and I got to tag along and just relax with no kids hanging on me, haha (it was so nice). I honestly am probably missing something, we did so much! Lot’s of fun memories!
There was a big chunk of time though that I was on an airplane almost every 2 weeks. I was also super busy with blogging this year, it was probably been my biggest year yet! Thanks to all of you!! A lot of people don’t think that being a blogger is very time consuming. Let me tell you a little something people haha Blogging is amazing and fun and so rewarding, but keeping up with my emails alone takes at least a few hours a day! Add on top of that I’ve got coming up with new content, photoshoots, traveling, phone calls, etc… it definetly keeps me busy. Casey has also been more busy this year for work, so that has also been tricky!
Londyn is healthy
Londyn has had a few health issues since she was born. We haven’t really felt comfortable going into detail about what happened because of the personal nature, but we got the AMAZING news this year that all her health issues have cleared up on their own! What a little miracle and so many prayers answered. We couldn’t be happier, it has been a huge weight off our chests! We feel so blessed!
Life with 3 kids
This year we’ve been learning how to manage 3 kids. I feel like I’ve never been less on top of life! Anyone else out there struggling?! Juggling 3 kiddos with work is way more difficult than I thought it would be. Let’s be real, just getting laundry done has been impossible let alone being on top of all their sports and activities! So overall, just figuring out a schedule for 3 kids has been the most difficult part of the past year. We kind of have a groove going now, though, so I think 2019 will be easier. Pray for us especially now that Londyn is a crazy almost two year old and gets into EVERYTHING! haha
That was pretty much our year and a little family update! Any mamas out there that have some tips on managing 3 kids send them to me haha, I will take them ALL! Thank you again for all the love and support! Love you all!
Thanks for stopping by!
xx
