Summer Denim Under $40

Denim on denim on denim! There is no question that denim is a huge trend this summer (and every summer)! It suits everyone, any size, any gender, any color. It’s traditional and always a safe addition to your outfit, but just because it’s safe doesn’t mean it doesn’t make a statement! I love my jean in summer, especially my jean jackets. I’m loving this one that I’m wearing here from Urban Outfitters. I’m also always noticing other peoples jeans. I think I actually have a problem because I love jeans and own way too many, just ask Casey! One of the things I’m loving this summer is the different cuts of jeans that are available. There’s a lot of opportunity to be unique with your summer style.

We went out for donuts after school to get over our hump day slump (can you tell we’re ready for summer?) and it was SO COLD! I guess I’m getting a little too used to being in California because I expect it to be warm all the time. haha I feel personally robbed when it’s not swimming weather. I was pretty bummed out, but the kids could care less. All you have to do is say the word “donut” and they barely notice anything else happening around them.

Side note- Londyn is learning way too quickly about her older siblings’ sweet tooth! I was super careful with my first to be really healthy, hardly any sugary foods, the whole nine yards. 3 kids later, and I’ll pretty much bribe any kind of candy if the situation calls for it. haha We balance out the sugar with carrots, though, don’t worry.
